Thanks Yue! This is great :) The exact thing happened to me yesterday, and I used these techniques to get out of the negative spiral. In addition, I owned my mistake to the stakeholder and said I would fix it for next time. That somehow brought closure to my inner critic.
I reframe my inner critique by reframing the negative statements with questions back.
